General Instruction

FB series auxiliary switch is one of the auxiliary components for the set of high-voltage equipments, and applicable both for controlling switch on & off functions, interlocking, and signal circuits of the high-voltage switch driving mechanism and conversions or group switches. The high switching capacity effectively surmounts the weaknesses of other auxiliary switches, such as limited switching capacity, short life-time of contacts. The working life of FB series auxiliary switch is obviously extended and makes it to be the valid substitute of similar variety of auxiliary switches.

d. Vibration acceleration is max15m/s；

e. There should be no evident air pollutions from dust, smoke, corrosives and combustible gas, vapor or salty fog.

E.g.: model no. FB-20Y01 means FB series, 20 poles, screw connection mode, 
10 NO contacts and 10 NC contacts.

Structure Features

FB series auxiliary switch is made up of multi-units with same structures. The contact point adopts pure silver alloy; the stable and moving contact plates are made of good brass, and the insulation plate is made of superior inflaming retarding material with high strength, good insulation property and heat-resistance.  Moreover, the reasonable structure of the switch ensures excellent dust-proof effects. The FB series auxiliary switch adopts plug in connection method. The pole quantity of this kind of auxiliary switch could be freely chosen by customers.

Working Principles

FB series auxiliary switch adopts indirect driving structure, the cam wheel drives to rotate the shaft, which in turn to push the connection rod of switch to cause the movement of contacts, thus to realize controlling of switch on & off functions of the electric circuits .

Installation and Operation

1.Please refer to the switch draft for mounting dimension..
2.The auxiliary switch should be mounted to the target objects by fixing each two extended screw shafts at both of sides of the end plates. The main body and the switching shaft of auxiliary switch should not be subject to external force; otherwise, it will become deformed and not able to work normally;
3.O-shaped or U-shaped terminals led out from the equipment are used to connect switches. And the terminals are located on the switches by screws with tightening torque up to 4 N.m applied.
